David Gilmour - Fat Old Sun Live in Gdansk

El mejor solo de Fat Old Sun de Gilmour!!
Existe a telecaster e a telecaster nas mãos de Guilmour.
14 years ago 😅. That guitar still works, thanks Dave
Think he played a much better performance when he went solo, and was handed an old telecaster, it became became an old friend. Amazing, as guitar guitar player would know.
Best solo ever!...
David Gilmour is, if not a fucking god himself, the manifestation of Calliope herself with Hermes and Dionysus smiling and toasting wine glasses at such perfection ❤❤ Edit: these fucking onion ninjas 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ooohhh yeeeaah 🤤❤
Psychedelic psychedelic psychedelic.
One of the best solos. I love such moments. The album version is much worse than the BBC version.
This song what is a great breakout for David Gilmour because the band took a little break and they said bring back a song and this is the one David Gilmour brought back
Steve Beckman
The royal Albert hall performance of 2006 is a great performance as well what a band ❤
Always been my favorite Pink Floyd song, just so happens it's David's too
I just watched it again all I can say is I'm overwhelmed
I saw him at the Kodak theater in 2006 + 2 other times in my opinion best shows ever
Great solo david. 84. Methuen high school. One of the best
This song has some 60 vibes and Hendrix in it , btw Mr Gilmore has an idol called Jimi✌️😎👌
David Gilmour knows how to sing from the heart ❤️
With the exception of Rick Wright (you can see it on his face), not a single person in the band or crowd realized this was the greatest guitar solo in the history of humanity.
Dave's telecaster's solo is sublime!✌✌✌
Love this solo, one of his 'happiest' solo's if you know what i mean.
I never grow tired of listening to or watching this. DG has never played a bad lead, but this is just otherworldly.
I am the lucky man who was then there...😀
The MASTER
Whether he’s with Floyd or just with Rick on this Mr. Gilmour is incomparable!
❤❤❤
Got to love a Telecaster.
That Drumming Really Makes You Appreciate Mr Nick Mason!🥁
Brano spaziale uno dei piu intensi eseguiti dei pin floyd ghilmor.stratosferico !😂❤❤❤
This is my favorite version of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. The instrumental jam at the end is just...tanscendent. If you get yourself to a quiet place, listen to this on a decent sound system, and close your eyes, try to think of a memory that makes you feel really peaceful and content. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular or flashy. Maybe it's just that you're nine years old, it's the first week of summer, it's early, you're lying in bed listening to the mourning dove in the tree outside your bedroom, the scent of hyacinth hangs lazily in the air, and the day is yours. You don't have to do anything except eat cereal and ride bikes with your friends. Maybe go down to the creek and chuck some rocks. Your present self hovers like a spirit above that scene as the guitar at the end takes hold, ascending higher, panning out, soaring, wanting to hold on to that moment forever. I am blessed to have many moments to choose from. When I listen to this song like that, the tears will surely follow, less from sorrow that that boy and the world as he knew it is gone, but more from gratitude that I got to live those memories. And much like the song, it's over only too soon. "We really did have it all. You know, when you think about it." -Don't Look Up
The first song composed by David for Pink Floyd, a masterpiece!
Favoloso brano
La musica del mio cuore
Minha música 🎸🎷🎷🎷🎸
I personally like this version better than the one by the Floyd! It makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and applaud! He’s the best and that damn Strat don’t lie!
Awe..some! Can't believe it took me 50 years to hear this for the first time! Got some catching up to do😅
This man is a gift, and gifted!
Summer Sunday, listening to the composition.. Great day
My most favorite sinh of theirs. It took me a while to find this. I would love to find the original albumn. Days of old gone by can never be replaced. ❤
Forza della naturaaaaaaaa
What is this voice, gee...
Playing a song over and over and over is a means of eventual sleep deprivation & torture by the CIA...No way in hell they would ever consider BIG FAT SUN!! I would've LOVED to have seen this Live in all the Floyd shows I've attended ...An ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE!! 😎
A Gilmour-solo in pure Major key (G ((D, F, C)), no Minor sentiment involved, is an absolute exception. Wonderful.
the absolutely best guitar solo david ever played! That solo is out of this world. And on top of that, I’ve never heard a telecaster sounds that amazingly in my life. I have no words for that solo.
I think it’s his best solo ever. And it’s a live show. Nobody does that!
Does anybody else keeps rewinding from 1:50 and playing over and over again? His voice is so calming and touches the heart making you transcend to another place.
Gilmour is SMILING because he KNOWS what an IDIOT pompous ASS Roger Waters was/is for stating that it was "mostly about the words" of the song and NOT much about the music.....Waters thought they couldn't do without Him.....just listening to that AWESOME SOLO for the 10,000th time STILL PRODUCES A BIG OLD GRIN!!!!
Grande Maestro!!!
EPIC!!!!
Such a huge catalog of music to choose from. That he can take an obscure song from one of Pink Floyd’s more obscure albums and do THIS with it… just incredible. I love seeing Dave play the old Pink Floyd stuff.
To everyone else, there are 3 Floyd albums that are NOT obscure. To the band members, only the last 3 of their initial run that were basically Roger's first solo albums are obscure, lol. I'll change my mind when I hear David jamming to Two Suns in the Sunset 😅
I'm so grateful I lived through this period of music..... simply gorgeous
distant bells in mown grass smells so sweet!!!!! by the river yes!!!! i belieeve that i lived this song!!!!! bob
Rare is the song that sounds better live, than it did when the original studio version was first released decades earlier. This is one of those gems. So great to see that Richard Wright was along for Gilmour's tour. R.I.P. Rick.
Have a listen to the version on” Live at the Paris Cinema “
